Soaking Wet Sandwiches is a father-son acoustic duo from South Jersey, serving up familiar songs with guitar, steel pan and a generous splash of tropical spirit.
It started with a cooler
You know that sandwich.
It was packed early in the morning for a long beach day, tucked between the cold drinks, watermelon and melting bags of ice. By lunchtime, it had worked its way to the very bottom of the cooler.
When you finally found it, the bread was a little soggy, the wrapper was dripping and the whole thing was undeniably messy. But after hours in the sun, with sand between your toes and salt in the air, it still tasted absolutely perfect.
That is a soaking wet sandwich. It may not be polished or fancy, but it is satisfying, memorable and forever connected to a great day at the beach.

Like the sandwich that inspired the name, our music is about enjoying the moment. As a father-son duo, we share a love of songs that bring people together, from Jimmy Buffett and Bob Marley to classic rock, country, yacht rock and the tunes everyone knows by the first chorus.
With acoustic guitar, steel pan and plenty of good-natured energy, we bring the feeling of a South Jersey summer wherever we play. Wineries, breweries, tiki bars, backyard parties and community events all become a little more relaxed, a little more tropical and a lot more fun.
